A: If you would like to save locations but keep the national Weather Plus page as your home, edit your locations and keep the 'Home' area blank. Please note: this means you can only save three locations instead of four.Q: I am a registered user. The first time I visited the site, I saved some locations, then registered, and it saved my locations. Now if I try to save locations before logging in, it does not save them when I log in. Why?
A: Computers save information using a collection of data called cookies. When you saved locations initially, and then registered to the site, your cookie had saved the locations and picked them up when you registered.Once you logged out as a registered user, those cookies were deleted. And the next time you logged in with your email address and password, the site uses the cookie you used last time you were logged in, and not the one you were using as an 'anonymous' user.Q. How do I sign up for severe weather alerts?
A. Coming soon!
